Last updated: June 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using DragonBite Academy™.
By creating an account or using DragonBite Academy™ ("DBA", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to all users, including parents, guardians, and children accessing DBA through a parent-managed account.
DragonBite Academy™ is a private, family-based nutrition education and habit-tracking application designed for children ages 4–12. The service helps families build healthy eating habits through gamified dragon characters, guardian-approved habit tracking, and evidence-based meal planning. DBA is an educational wellness tool — it is not a medical service, clinical nutrition program, or diagnostic tool.
All accounts must be created by a parent or guardian who is 18 years of age or older. Children may not create their own accounts. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of your household. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
DBA complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All child profiles are created and managed exclusively by registered parent or guardian accounts. Children's data — including names, habits, and progress — is never publicly visible and is never sold to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy & Safety policy.
DBA is offered as a subscription service. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and plan details are described on the Pricing page. All charges are processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
You agree not to: (a) use DBA for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service; (c) reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of DBA; (d) upload harmful, abusive, or misleading content; or (e) use the service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair DBA's infrastructure. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.
All content, branding, dragon characters, artwork, copy, and software comprising DragonBite Academy™ are the intellectual property of DragonBite Academy and its licensors. The "DragonBite Academy™" name and logo are trademarks. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from DBA content without express written permission.
DBA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nutritional information and habit recommendations are for educational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical or dietary concerns related to your child.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DragonBite Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of DBA shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of DBA after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
